Last July, Professor Guy Paré was elected Fellow of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics (IAHSI). This honor was awarded during the MedInfo 2023 Congress, which took place in Sydney (Australia), July 8-12.
IAHSI was established in 2017 by the International Medical Informatics Association, and its goal is to recognize substantial achievements in medical informatics, and to promote the dissemination of knowledge and best practices, foster new ideas, and encourage worldwide collaboration and sharing of expertise and resources in this disciplinary field. Until now, this academy has 240 Fellows, and three are from Canada.
