Guy Paré, Ph.D., MSRC

Guy Paré is Professor of Information Technology and holds the Research Chair in Digital Health, at HEC Montréal. His current research interests involve the clinical, organizational and economic impacts of telehealth applications, electronic medical record systems and health information exchange projects as well as the barriers to adoption and implementation of health IT in the Quebec health care system. His work has appeared in top-ranked scientific journals and has been presented at several national and international conferences. Professor Paré’s expertise in health informatics has been sought by numerous organizations including the World Health Organization, the Department of Health in France, Canada Health Infoway, and the Québec Ministry of Health and Social Services. He was elected a member of the Royal Society of Canada in 2012.
